Community Worker, KEMRI-WELLCOME TRUST
Anne Ocholla is born and raised in both Homa-bay and Mombasa counties, spent most of her childhood life in Kobala village where she developed a curious mind on matters development at an early age. She’s currently a motivational speaker with extensive experience on women empowerment, advocacy and capacity building. She decided to follow her childhood dreams and decided to pursue a course in development. She received her degree in BA Development Studies in Mount Kenya University.
She has been a community worker with KEMRI-WELLCOME TRUST Research Programme for more than five years, her focus on community work and collaboration has led to community leadership roles where she serves wholeheartedly.
Her recent activities include reading and writing books, self-development, community engagement and collaboration, and community leadership. She’s enthusiastic on entrepreneurship.
