Ndanu Kilonzo is among the few young people in Kenya who have spearheaded the development of the Kenyan Film industry. She is The Head of Production and Operations at Spielworks media. She traces the beginning of her love for film when she went to Maseno University to study Creative arts and Performance. It is here that she learnt scripting, production, directing as well as acting.  In 2009 she met up with Dorothy Ghettuba and hence the formation and continued success of Spielworks media.

She is credited for creating and writing the T.V series Higher learning, Saint, Block- D, Lies that Bind, Jane and Abel, Sumu La penzi, Urembo, Sweetest Taboo, Ladies1st, Sema Nami, Hot Seat, The Scoop, The Katiba series and 41 TV movies. Some of the shows she has produced have received numerous award nominations and aired on Africa Magic, Magic Maisha, KTN, NTV, ZUKU, SABC and numerous channels across Africa.  

She recently graduated with an MBA from Strathmore Business School. When it comes to budgeting for a show, day-to-day running of the company and any financial management issues, she deals with it like a true artisan.

Her experience in the industry and beyond has prepared her for her current role as a crusader for the Business of Creativity. Her passion now is to see those with creative ideas pair them up with sound business practices for successful ventures. Looking at the business side of creativity is now her major quest and thrives in helping entrepreneurs succeed in that front.

If one needs anything to be done she is the person to get it done. Strong willed, meticulous and goal oriented are but few traits that can sum her up. All in all, she is a unique gem in her line of work.
