Program Officer in the Social and Political Pillars at the Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat
Currently the Program Officer in the Social and Political Pillars at the Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat, she is a graduate of Strathmore University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and Management with a double major in Non-Profit Organizations and Public Administration. She has just completed her Masters in Public Policy and Management from the Strathmore Business School. Wanjiku has a solid background in Marketing and Communication from the Marketing Society of Kenya and the Chartered Institute of Marketing(UK.) She is a trained Transformational Leader by the International Leadership Foundation.
Wanjiku served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Foreign Service Academy dealing with different diplomatic relations and communications. Prior to this, she was an entrepreneur for over 12 years in Public Relations, Marketing and Communications. She serves as a Board member on the Africa Digna Foundation. She is a mentor and leader in various capacities in different youth and women entities. She is passionate about women, entrepreneurship, education and farming.
