Charles Linwood Jackson
C. Linwood Jackson, is the President of the NAACP Delaware State Conference, he’s also the Producer & Host of The Urban Compass TV Show and The Linwood Jackson Radio Show.
As President, Linwood chairs the Economic Empowerment Committee of the NAACP, where he is committed to promoting racial equity, economic development and economic empowerment within the black community. His goal is to heighten business visibility, and changing the community mindsets to support Black-Owned Businesses.
Linwood has been an invited guest on numerous TV & Radio shows, enabling him to speak with some of the greatest minds and big-name entrepreneurs and celebrities in the world today, where he talks about the issues, the solutions and the fun stuff too concerning Delaware and the nation.
A powerhouse voice for over seven years he’s created 100’s of media programs to serve as a catalyst for positive change and entrepreneurship on both his TV and Radio shows.
Linwood was featured in two movies “Crutches” and “Delaware Shore” in the first his character was working hard to go into business for himself. And the latter his character was the owner of a coffee shop.
On top of this impressive record, he’s a speaker with the AARP’s Life Re-imagined Program, where he often states “if you can’t get a job create your own”.
He’s also spoken at the YMCA’s Black Achievers program where he encouraged the youth to go into business for themselves. Linwood is on a mission. With over 7 years of Radio, TV, Stage and Film entertainment experience, that he uses to empower people to thrive and not just survive as entrepreneurs!
Linwood serves on the executive boards of: Naacp De. State, The South Bridge Civic Association, The Wilmington Drama League, Each one Teach one inc. He’s a member of: Del. Racial Justice Collaborative, The Monday Club, Coalition of Black Trades Unionist, and AARP Volunteer Speaker.
