The conference has established itself as an important forum for business leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, scholars and aspiring entrepreneurs to gather and exchange ideas around entrepreneurship.

Presenting on the conference panels including Diaspora Youth: Engaging them to look back, Diaspora Women in Entrepreneurship, African Entrepreneurs: Succeeding in the US, Diaspora and Fintech, and, Financing Diaspora Business Initiatives in Africa, a lineup of successful and accomplished speakers (http://startupafrica.org/conference/speakers/) from different parts of the US who shared great insights and best practices with the attendees.
“For members of the Diaspora and those seeking to do business in Africa, this conference was worth the time for those who attended,” said Erastus Mong’are, Executive Director, StartUpAfrica. “Ours is to keep preparing and hosting this event so that more people are empowered to take action for themselves and Africa”.
